PRESIDENT TRUMP ON COMMUNITIES OF FAITH

WASHINGTON DC - President Donald J.Trump Convenes White House Press Conference on Communities of Faith. President Trump states, "I will over-ride the Governors.

Over-riding the decisions of Governors has happened  in cases of civil rights most recently. However, to my knowledge, which is limited, the legal process of over-riding a Governor is generally supported based on constitutional reasoning. The Governor's are official Administrators of States, that are legally liable and responsible for protecting the lives of their citizens. To my knowledge there is no prior legal account of a US President dictating what Governors must allow to happen in a particular US State without an act of the US Congress.

I love worshiping among believers in Christ Jesus. I have enjoyed worshiping with people during a Jewish Service, which is much like the Episcopalian service. I have experienced worshiping abroad in East Africa and recognize the rights of all people to worship as they desire keeping all other humans beings safe during the activity.

Endangerment during a worship service might be something Communities of Worship should consider. Worship daily is essential. Worship among fellow believers is essential, but not at the expense of harming other people. It is written in the Bible, "Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.

The Corona-Virus is a real threat to human life and a serious problem at this time around the world. Worship leaders must use wisdom. The President and Vice President have access to all manner of medical treatments beyond common folk attending a worship service. Likewise, many Faith-leaders have access to better health than their constituents. The income gap is also a key factor that should be considered. Moreover, what degree of liability does the faith organization assume by opening without due-diligence prior to resuming services.

There are many factors that must be considered prior to rejecting the wisdom of elected officials given the responsibility of protecting citizens. Administrators and Elected Official are considered many factors prior to implementing extreme social distancing policy. Their decisions governing the safety of their citizens should be respected.

Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
