Then at 11:45 AM, President Biden and Vice President Harris will meet with Governors to discuss ongoing efforts to strengthen wildfire prevention, preparedness and response efforts, and hear firsthand about the ongoing impacts of the 2021 wildfire season, which are growing more severe. President Biden and Vice President Harris will present remarks and hear from Governor Kate Brown of Oregon, Governor Greg Gianforte of Montana, Governor Mark Gordon of Wyoming, Governor Jay Inslee of Washington, Governor Brad Little of Idaho, Governor Gavin Newsom of California, and Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota. This White House event will happen at the South Court Auditorium.
In the afternoon at the White House State Dining Room, President Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. will host Cuban-American leaders at the White House to discuss the recent, historic demonstrations in Cuba and the Administration’s response at 4:45 PM.
In the evening, President Biden will travel to Camp David, where he will remain over the weekend. President Biden will depart from the White House South Lawn at 6:00 PM.
