In the morning, President Biden and Vice President Harris will receive the President’s Daily Brief at the White House Oval Office.
In the afternoon, President Biden will participate in a bilateral meeting with His Excellency Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, at the White House Oval Office. This visit will affirm the United States’ unwavering support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity in the face of Russia’s ongoing aggression in the Donbas and Crimea, our close cooperation on energy security, and our backing for President Zelenskyy’s efforts to tackle corruption and implement a reform agenda based on our shared democratic values.
Later, President Biden and Vice President Harris will receive the Weekly Economic Briefing at the White House Oval Office.
President Biden will, then, receive regular briefings from his homeland security team on the impacts of Tropical Depression Ida.

At 10:00 AM EDT, Vice President Kamala Devi Harris of the United States of America will receive the President’s Daily Brief at the White House Oval Office.
At 4:30 PM EDT, President Biden and Vice President Harris will receive the Weekly Economic Briefing at the White House Oval Office.
FIRST LADY DR. JILL BIDEN ~ WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2021
At 1:00 PM ET, First Lady Jill Biden will appear as a special guest and deliver a pre-recorded message for the National Parent Teacher Association (PTA)’s “Back to Class” virtual town hall at the National PTA.
In the afternoon, as part of her work on Joining Forces, the First Lady will travel to Jacksonville, North Carolina where she will hold private meetings and engage in a listening session with several military and veteran family members at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. Accompanying the First Lady will be Mrs. Donna Berger, spouse of the Commandant of the Marine Corps General David H. Berger, and Mrs. Stacie Black, spouse of the Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps Troy E. Black.
