PRESIDENT JOSEPH ROBINETTE BIDEN, JR. ~ MONDAY, MAY 30, 2022  

In the morning, President Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. and the First Lady Dr, Jill Biden will return to the White House from Wilmington, Delaware. They will depart from Wilmington, Delaware en route to the White House South Lawn at 8:25 AM. At 9:20 AM, President Biden and the Second Lady arrive at the White House.  

Then at 10:30 AM, President Biden and the First Lady will host a breakfast in honor of Memorial Day at the White House East Room in Washington, DC, USA.  

At noon, President Biden, the First Lady, Vice President Kamala Devi Harris, Second Gentleman Douglass Emhoff, the Secretary of Defense, and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff will participate in a Wreath-Laying Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia.  

After at 12:15 PM, President Biden will present the Memorial Day Address at the 154th National Memorial Day Observance at Memorial Amphitheater at Arlington National Cemetery. The Secretary of Defense and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff will also present remarks. The First Lady, Vice President Harris, and the Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff will attend.  

Later at 1:45 PM, President Biden and the First Lady will be joined by surviving families of service members who have passed away in a tree planting ceremony on the White House South Lawn. A magnolia tree will be planted in honor of those who have lost their lives and the families who carry on their legacies.
