PRESIDENT JOSEPH ROBINETTE BIDEN, JR. ~ TUESDAY, JUNE 7, 2022  

In the morning at 10:00 AM, President Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. will receive the President’s Daily Brief in the The White House Oval Office in Washington, DC, U.S.A..  

In the afternoon at 2:45 PM, President Biden will sign into law nine bipartisan bills that will honor and improve care for America’s veterans. These bills will expand access to high-quality breast cancer screening, improve breast imaging services, and ensure that Americans who developed cancer and other medical conditions due to the nation’s World War II-era nuclear program can continue to be compensated for the harms they have suffered. The Secretary of Veterans Affairs will attend. This event will be convened in the White House East Room in Washington, DC, U.S.A. on Tuesday, June 7, 2022.

 

 

 

 

VICE PRESIDENT KAMALA DEVI HARRIS ~ TUESDAY, JUNE 7, 2022  

At 2:15 PM PDT, Vice President Kamala Devi Harris will host a women’s leadership roundtable with women business executives, entrepreneurs, and civil society leaders to discuss economic empowerment in northern Central America. Among other topics, they will discuss increasing women’s participation in the work force, expanding women’s financial and digital inclusion, and promoting diverse and inclusive workforce cultures. This event will be convened at the InterContinental Los Angeles in Los Angeles, California on Tuesday, June 7, 2022.  

At 3:20 PM PDT, Vice President Harris will present remarks at the In Her Hands launch — an event promoting women’s economic empowerment in northern Central America and throughout the Western Hemisphere. This event, co-hosted by the Chamber of Commerce, the Partnership for Central America, and the U.S. government, will launch new private sector and public sector initiatives to promote women’s economic empowerment and address gender-based violence in the region, which will help address the root causes of migration. This event will be convened at the InterContinental Los Angeles in Los Angeles, California on Tuesday, June 7, 2022.  

At 4:00 PM PDT, Vice President Harris will host a roundtable with business executives as part of her Call to Action for northern Central America, the initiative she launched in May 2021 to bring together the private sector and social enterprises to invest in and support the long-term development of the region. The Vice President will announce significant new investments in the region by the private sector, which will create jobs and economic opportunity for people within their countries. Vice President Harris's opening remarks will be presented at the InterContinental Los Angeles in Los Angeles, California on Tuesday, June 7, 2022.
