President Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. formally launches the Global Infrastructure Partnership on the Margins of the G7 in Krün, Germany on Saturday, June 25, 2022.

 

 

 

 

PRESIDENT JOSEPH ROBINETTE BIDEN, JR. ~ MONDAY, JUNE 27, 2022  

President Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. will attend the G7 Summit in Schloss Elmau, Germany.  

President Biden will participate in a G7 Summit Session on Ukraine at 10:00 AM. The G7 Leaders will be joined virtually by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine. This event will be covered by the restricted out-of-town pool.  

President Biden will participate in a working 12:30 PM lunch with Outreach Partners and heads of International Organizations on Climate, Energy, and Health at Fidelio, Schloss Elmau, Germany.  

President Biden will participate in a family photo with G7 leaders as well as guest country leaders and heads of International Organizations at 2:00 PM in the Front Courtyard, Schloss Elmau, Germany.  

President Biden will participate in a plenary with outreach partners and International Organizations on Food Security and Gender Equality at 3:30 PM in the Front Courtyard, Schloss Elmau, Germany.

At 5:55 PM EDT, Vice President Kamala Harris will ceremonially swear in Ambassador Bridget A. Brink to serve as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Ukraine. This ceremony will be convened in Vice President Harris’s Ceremonial Office.

On Sunday, June 26th, Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff will travel to Manila, Republic of the Philippines where he will lead the Presidential Delegation to the Inauguration of His Excellency Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos, Jr. as President of the Republic of the Philippines, on June 30, 2022. In Manila, Mr. Emhoff will meet with President Marcos and Vice President Sara Duterte-Carpio. He will also meet with alumni of the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative and visit the Manila American Cemetery.
