At 1:55 PM ET, Vice President Kamala Harris participates in a briefing with digital news outlets and creators ahead of President Biden's State of the Union address.  

At 8:25 PM, President Biden, First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, and Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff, Esq. depart the White House en route to the United States Capitol South Grounds.  

In the evening at 9:00 PM ET, President Biden addresses US citizens and their representatives in Congress at the State of the Union. President Biden will "speak about the historic achievements he has delivered for the American people and his vision for the future" according to The White House. Vice President Kamala Harris, and Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff, Esq. will also attend. This event is convened at the United States Capitol in Washington DC on Thursday, March 7, 2024.
