We must ask ourselves: Who holds this administration accountable—not just politically, but morally? And what becomes of a nation whose leaders believe they answer only to themselves, and perhaps to a god of their own making?
If we care about preserving our institutions, respecting our diversity, and upholding the dignity of all people—imperfect though we all are—we must challenge the dangerous assumption that America’s greatness can be declared from a podium. True greatness is demonstrated through humility, justice, and the courage to listen.
